Permian Basin Golf & RV Resort, previously named Martin County Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 9 hole golf course located in Stanton, Texas.
The golf course first opened for play in 1969.
The course is wide-open and difficult when the wind is blowing. The flat terrain has no bunkers. The fairways are lined with mesquite, mulberry, and cypress trees that are relatively immature, leaving room to work even if you miss the generous landing areas. The bent-grass greens have a reputation for being difficult, as they are small and vary in undulation and speed. Water comes into play on only one hole
